This deliciously creamy sauce can be used as a substitute, for creamy savoury recipes.
Makes 2-3 Side portions
1 Cup Spelt pasta (or plant-based pasta of choice)
125g Cashew Nuts
Salt and Pepper too taste
2 tsp Garlic & Coriander seasoning
Cook pasta according to pack instructions
Drain when cooked and leave to the side
Soak cashews for minimum 1 hour preferably overnight
Add soaked cashews and 1/2 cup of water to blender
5. To a heated pan add cashew sauce with plant-milk
6. Stir mixture together and add seasonings on a low heat
7. When simmering stir in cooked pasta
Serve alongside a delicious dish.
