Green Grain Mix

When you'd rather be anywhere else but the kitchen. Give this quick and easy recipe a go.


Ingredients

1 Cup Peas

1/2 Cup Kale

1 Cup Tri-colour quinoa

1 Cup Sainsbury's Cracked Bulgur Wheat 500g

6 Mint leaves too taste

½ Medium Lime

Seasonings- Sea/Himalayan Salt, Crushed Black Peppercorn too taste

Seeds (Pumpkin, Flax, Chia, Hemp)


Method

  1. Wash and cook Bulgar wheat and Quinoa according to pack instructions

  2. When cooked squeeze in half a lime

  3. Wash and Chop the Kale and Mint leaves then add to the grains

  4. Boil peas and add together along with seasonings and seeds

  5. Mix all together



There you have it an easy side or a main dish that can be eaten hot or cold. served with Salad, Falfael and hummus.
